    Our **Fortune 500 client is seeking a Data Scientist** with a strong background in generative AI and large language models (LLMs) to join their fast-paced data and technology team. This hybrid role involves both project-based work and ad hoc analytical support.

     

    **Location:** Richardson, TX (Hybrid –Tuesdays/Thursdays)

    **Employment Type:** Contract through 10/31/2025 (Potential for extension or conversion to full-time)

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No overtime expected)

    Responsibilities:

    + Apply machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to real-world business problems

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to support and deliver data-driven insights

    + Develop and maintain models using Python, R, and SQL

    + Experiment with and implement generative AI/LLM solutions for internal projects

    + Leverage tools like LangChain to build AI applications

    Requirements:

    2–3 years of hands-on experience in a data science role

    + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

    + Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and LangChain

    + Experience working with generative AI and large language models

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical topics clearly

    + Experience with Microsoft Azure

    + Familiarity with modern MLOps and cloud-based development environments
