    The Digital Analytics Personalization Manager is primarily responsible for developing, leading and implementing the analytics-driven digital personalization program across the Consumer Bank and the enterprise. The successful candidate will build personalization capabilities that can be leveraged across the Consumer Bank and will actively socialize and elevate these solutions to obtain the needed alignment and buy-in. Integral to this effort is the ability to leverage work and projects already completed/in progress and to make demonstrated progress by bringing efforts together while still driving thoughtful independence among federated stakeholders.

     

    Current personalization efforts across the Consumer Bank are implemented through a combination of vendor SaaS solutions (including Adobe) and home-grown implementations, and the successful candidate will also leverage data sets such as Clickstream Data, Digital Session Replay, Digital Experimentation or A/B Testing, Journey Analytics, Customer Surveys and Customer Activity Logging/Audit Logging.

     

    The Digital Analytics Personalization Manager will serve as a product manager to work backward from stakeholder needs to determine how to implement the digital personalization program and to perform technical and analytic work to implement this program. The initial effort will involve generating and delivering analysis on current and potential analytics efforts to drive the understanding of the value of coordination and alignment across digital personalization efforts.

     

    Key partners will include federated stakeholders across the Consumer Bank with personalization efforts of varying maturity and connectivity, Digital Analytics and data partners, including technical resources to implement code on web pages/mobile applications, digital product managers and other analytics/Consumer Bank resources and leaders.

     

    This Manager will be a doer who will be determining what work should be done and the operating model with different stakeholders and partners and then doing the work him/herself while building out the function. While we anticipate that this person will deliver and build the strategy and influence to grow a team in time, this candidate will always be expected to be doing hands-on technical/analytic work to demonstrate meaningful progress.

     

    **Success criteria include:** Demonstrating leadership through strong communication skills via messaging, addressing conflict, managing competing priorities and presenting holistic solutions to enable business strategy; ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage self and others to tight deadlines; establishing reputation as an effective and collaborative partner; leveraging knowledge of strategy, business and competition to connect day-to-day work of team to the “bigger picture”; and effectively creating, socializing and gaining buy-in for the Digital Analytics personalization strategy.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    + Build, deliver, implement and gain buy-in for digital personalization program across Consumer Bank, leveraging a wide variety of personalization work that has already been done and continues.

    + Serve as the lead analyst on foundational digital personalization analysis work to determine and elevate the benefits of a personalization program to coordinate and align among current efforts.

    + Determine a thoughtful, proactive operating model with technical/IT teams, product managers and vendors (where applicable) and gain alignment and buy-in for this approach. See this through to implementation and scaling.

    + Elevate the understanding and knowledge base of digital personalization and the discipline behind it.

    + Generate demand and work with stakeholders to prioritize implementation requests.

    + Actively tell the story around the personalization program and efforts across the Consumer Bank including consistent, consumable demonstration of progress and the value of the program beyond individual efforts.

    + Proactively solve business problems leveraging complex data and analysis tools.

    + Leverage knowledge of KeyCorp and LOB strategy, business and competition to anticipate needs and make recommendations.

    + Drive projects end-to-end; prioritize multiple projects; manage to tight deadlines.

    + Review deliverables; coach others on approach and work product.

    + Lead business partner interactions; drive for results and provide recommendations in alignment with business priorities.

    + Effectively communicate with team and business partners; articulate broad implications / impact of messages.

    + Address challenging situations; anticipate and address conflict by demonstrating managerial courage.

    + Proactively coach and guide the work of others; Serve as mentor within and beyond own team.

    + Manage integration of activities typically within own team.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Economics, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, Natural Sciences, or a related field and 6 years of relevant experience; master’s degree a plus

    Advanced proficiency with:

    + Digital personalization tools, including usage and implementation

    + Digital data analysis, including compelling storytelling

    + Program development and implementation, including gaining buy-in from diverse set of stakeholders

    + Deep understanding of data-driven digital product development

    + Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint

    + Query writing/coding a plus

    + Data visualization

    Understanding of:

    + Digital product management and development

    + Source systems

    + Process flow and automation

    + Prioritization of varying demand from various stakeholders

    **Skill & Ability t** o:

    + Navigate and explain data warehouse and/or data supply chain

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $105,000 to $155,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance
