Responsibilities:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Smart Homes, you'll provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live meaningful, independent lives while utilizing advanced technology features providing you a unique opportunity to provide the best care to the residents through the use of technology.

Key duties include:

+ Care & Support: Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal prep, and medication management.

+ Emotional Support: Encourage independence and provide companionship and encouragement.

+ Community Engagement: Plan and participate in community-based activities, social events, and outings.

+ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client progress, health, and incidents.

Qualifications:

+ Valid driver's license required - urgent response to houses when matters arise is required. Remote monitoring of the home using a tablet to check in on residents allows for a hybrid work structure as long as DSP can respond to urgent matters quickly, as needed.

+ Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare.

+ SCIP-R certified and First Aid/CPR certification required.

+ Reliable internet access.

+ Compassion, patience, and a desire to positively impact others.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Strong computer and technical skills required in addition to the willingness and ability to learn new applications and systems quickly.
