    Prince Telecom is currently hiring Fiber Optic Repair and Maintenance Splicers to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area to help connect America!

    Compensation: $18-24/hr (based on experience)

     

    Job Type: Full time

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of cable

    + Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation

    + Complete daily production reports, mark-up maps, complete \"as-built maps\", and track daily production

    + Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.

    + You will frequently work independently

    + Perform other splicing related duties as assigned

     

    Who we are looking for…

     

    + Minimum 18 years old

    + Authorized to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship

    + Valid standard driver's license required

    + Must live within 60 miles of Charlotte, NC

    + Comfortable working outdoors

    + Ability to communicate effectively

    + Ability to work a flexible schedule (over-time, after hours, weekends)

    + Focused and driven individual who can perform difficult manual labor tasks in adverse conditions

    + Ability to stand, crouch, sit, bend, balance, climb, crawl, lift, hold, or stoop while on shift

    + Able to lift, climb, and carry weight of up to 80lbs
