Tax Provision Advisor

What you'll achieve

Our tax accounting team seeks a strong team player to join their team. This role is responsible for the preparation and consolidation of various aspects of Dell Technologies’ quarterly global tax provision and will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams across Tax, Finance and Accounting to deliver on . Responsibility for preparing and reviewing quarterly tax provision work papers, including tax account reconciliations, journal entries, consolidation work papers and disclosures.

You will:

+ Apply analytical and problem-solving skills across various aspects of the tax provision

+ Assist in the preparation of the legal entity forecast used for the interim tax provision

+ Support our international tax and statutory teams

+ Use leading technology to simplify and automate tax accounting processes

+ Automate and document tax accounting processes

Essential Requirements

+ 2-3 years corporate income tax accounting experience at a large public accounting firm or large multinational company

+ Knowledge of ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes and US federal / state income taxation

+ Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

+ Organized and able to prioritize to meet deadlines in a very dynamic fast paced environment

+ A team-player who focuses on collaboration and building strong relationships throughout the organization

Desirable Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and Certified Public Accountant

+ Working knowledge of Onesource Tax Provision or equivalent tax provision software along with proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, PowerBI, and PowerPoint; ability to review and audit complex formulas in Excel, Experience with SAP, Alteryx or Tableau is highly desirable

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $88,400. - $114,400.
