    Job Title: Desktop Technical Lead

     

    Job Type: Full-Time

     

    Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Desktop Technical Lead to oversee our desktop infrastructure and endpoint management solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, M365, MDM, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, or SCCM. This role involves leading a team, ensuring efficient deployment and management of endpoints, and maintaining high security standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Leadership & Strategy:

    + Lead and mentor a team of desktop engineers.

    + Develop and implement endpoint management strategies.

    + Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs.

    + Endpoint Management:

    + Manage and configure Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and M365 environments.

    + Oversee deployment and management of endpoints using ManageEngine Endpoint Central or SCCM.

    + Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

    + Technical Expertise:

    + Automate processes using PowerShell and other scripting languages.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

    + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

    + Documentation & Reporting:

    + Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.

    + Generate reports on endpoint performance, compliance, and security.

    + Other:

    + Troubleshoot and repair break/fix issues.

    + Configure, troubleshoot and support Video Conferencing systems used for corporate broadcasts.

    + Provide solutions to user issues by identifying problems, researching answers, and helping to implement.

    + Train users in basic problem resolution and understanding of how to make efficient use of their PCs.

    + Respond to user requests and service issues in a timely and professional manner.

    + Provide support via phone using remote support software.

    + Create, monitor, update, and close tickets using Service Now ticketing system.

    + Adhere to Black Box corporate, technology and security policies at all times while performing daily functions.

    + Remain current on technical and operational details concerning PC products and support.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Experience:

    + 10+ years of experience in desktop engineering and endpoint management.

    + Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, M365, MDM, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, or SCCM.

    + Technical Skills:

    + Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and endpoint security.

    + Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

    + Familiarity with Azure AD, Group Policy, and modern management techniques.

    + Soft Skills:

    + Excellent leadership and communication skills.

    + Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

    Nice to Have:

    + Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, MCSE, or equivalent.

    + Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and advanced security practices.

    + Familiarity with IT service management tools like ServiceNow.
