Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Cloud Formation AWS Kinesis Amazon MS for Apache Kafka Amazon S3 Apache Spark and Python. This role will involve designing and implementing cloud-based solutions ensuring high performance and scalability. The work model is hybrid and the shift is day. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
+ **Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions using AWS Cloud Formation AWS Kinesis and Amazon MS for Apache Kafka.**
+ **Oversee the development and deployment of data pipelines and storage solutions using Amazon S3 and Apache Spark.**
+ **Provide technical guidance and support to development teams in the use of AWS services and Python programming.**
+ **Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based solutions by adhering to best practices and industry standards.**
+ **Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.**
+ **Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.**
+ **Conduct regular reviews and audits of cloud-based solutions to identify and address potential issues.**
+ **Develop and maintain documentation for cloud-based solutions including architecture diagrams and technical specifications.**
+ **Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and related technologies.**
+ **Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.**
+ **Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues related to cloud-based solutions.**
+ **Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.**
+ **Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.**
Qualifications
+ **Possess extensive experience in AWS Cloud Formation AWS Kinesis and Amazon MS for Apache Kafka.**
+ **Demonstrate proficiency in Amazon S3 and Apache Spark for data storage and processing.**
+ **Exhibit strong programming skills in Python.**
+ **Have a solid understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices.**
+ **Show experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions.**
+ **Display excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.**
+ **Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.**
Certifications Required
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certified Kubernetes Administrator
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 06/07/2025
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $133,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
