As a **Security Officer - Bank Location** in **Jersey City, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk professional in a financial institution setting, you will be responsible for monitoring access and assisting visitors, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and support a welcoming environment. Your role is key in upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity, while maintaining a caring and people-first approach at the location.

Responsibilities:

+ Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.

+ Carry out security procedures and site-specific policies relevant to financial institution locations.

+ Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Communicate with building management and emergency services when appropriate.

+ Assist in the implementation of emergency response activities, such as evacuations or lockdowns, as directed.

+ Maintain detailed records of security-related incidents and daily activities at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 1 year of security experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ A valid guard card or security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
