Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a healthcare organization in Portland, Oregon. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to oversee financial operations across multiple sites, including clinics, mental health centers, and housing facilities. The CFO will play a critical role in managing budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability, and driving strategic financial decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes to align with organizational goals and priorities.
• Oversee cash flow management and ensure the organization has adequate financial resources to meet operational needs.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Conduct audits and assessments to ensure financial accountability and adherence to regulations.
• Manage capital investments and develop strategies for sustainable growth.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics to evaluate organizational performance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare-related financial regulations and standards.
• Supervise financial staff, providing leadership and support to enhance team performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes and systems. Requirements
• Proven experience as a CFO or in senior financial leadership roles within the healthcare industry.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with executive leadership.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial challenges.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present financial insights and strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred
