Description We are in search of a Senior Cost Accountant to become an integral part of our team in the manufacturing industry, based in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. In this role, you will execute and manage a variety of accounting functions, providing key insights into our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Execute accurate and timely accounting entries and maintain their precision.

• Collaborate effectively with team members across various departments such as Logistics, Sales, and Operations.

• Analyze financial results and provide clear explanations for budget variances.

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and monthly reports to support strategic decision-making.

• Participate in audits, contributing to the strengthening of internal controls.

• Develop and monitor annual budgets to ensure financial health of the organization.

• Identify and report financial variances, providing insights to assist in financial planning.

• Be accountable for invoicing internal and external clients, ensuring a smooth billing process.

• Implement and monitor new accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry as a Senior Cost Accountant or a similar role for a minimum of 2 years

• Proficient in Accounting Functions, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles

• Possesses substantial knowledge and practical experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proven skills in conducting Auditing and ensuring compliance with regulations and laws

• Demonstrable proficiency in Budget Processes, including planning, development, and implementation

• Familiarity with Cash Activity management, including tracking, reporting, and auditing

• Strong expertise in Manufacturing Cost Accounting, including cost analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
