Description

Robert Half is partnering with a growing Construction client on a Staff Accountant opening. The role is 100% in office and reports to the Assistant Controller.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Denver. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and ready to support various accounting functions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry and account reconciliations

+ Prepare and post journal entries

+ Support accounts payable and receivable processes

+ Help maintain the general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures

+ Assist with job cost tracking and reporting

+ Maintain accurate records and organized filing systems (digital and paper)

+ Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure financial data accuracy

+ Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internship experience is a plus)

+ Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
