Robert Half is seeking a dedicated Credentialing Specialist for a well-regarded organization in Pittsfield, MA. Job Responsibilities
As a Credentialing Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
+ Reviewing and verifying healthcare provider credentials and qualifications
+ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date credentialing records in compliance with regulations
+ Collaborating with providers and clients to ensure timely processing of applications
+ Managing re-credentialing and licensure renewal processes
+ Ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local standards, as well as client-specific requirements
+ Conducting audits and resolving discrepancies in credentialing documentation
Requirements
We’re looking for skilled professionals with the following qualifications:
+ Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in medical credentialing or a related healthcare administrative role
+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
+ Technical Skills: Familiarity with credentialing systems and databases; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
