Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting various accounts payable functions. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices to ensure timely payment and accurate recordkeeping.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.

• Execute check runs and ensure proper documentation for all payments.

• Assign appropriate coding to invoices and input data into accounting systems.

• Perform thorough data entry tasks to support accounts payable operations.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve payment inquiries.

• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and invoice documentation.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and update spreadsheets for reporting purposes.

• Support month-end close processes related to accounts payable.

• Adhere to compliance standards and company policies in all financial transactions.

Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing.

• Familiarity with check runs and coding invoices.

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.

• Understanding of compliance standards and accounting principles.
