Description

A small constitutional rights law firm that focuses on civil rights and Section 1983 matters is seeking a Paralegal to join their team in Far Hills, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for someone that can manage cases, ECF filings, exhibit creation, calendaring, and client communication. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.

Responsibilities

Federal filing experience

Drafting and working on motions

Create and maintain case files

Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines and calendars by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders

Conduct legal research

Salary for this role would be $80,000 - $110,000 with generous yearly bonuses and a fun, collaborative atmosphere. This is an IN PERSON position in Far Hills, NJ.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

• Proficiency in calendar management and maintaining organized schedules.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with e-filing systems, particularly PACER, is essential.

• Familiarity with federal court procedures and statutes.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
