Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate legal matters, including entity management, drafting legal documents, and supporting real estate transactions. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with clients, prospects, applicants, residents, and colleagues, ensuring alignment with the company's customer service standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all assigned tasks.
• Conduct research and assist in preparing legal documents such as purchase agreements, contracts, deeds, leases, and financial documents.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate purchase and sales agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Maintain and update corporate records, including minute books and organizational diagrams, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Handle entity formation, licensing, and registration processes, including filing annual reports and renewing business permits.
• Assist in real estate transactions by summarizing purchase agreements, managing due dates, and coordinating with attorneys and financial institutions.
• Review third-party reports, title insurance, and surveys to identify and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and distribute W-9 forms and other required documentation for business operations.
• Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files related to corporate and real estate matters.

Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate or real estate law.
• Proficiency in legal software tools.
• Strong organizational skills with experience in calendar management and task prioritization.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, entity management, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with real estate transactions, including document preparation and review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
