Description We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney to join our boutique personal injury law firm in St. Louis, Missouri. This position is ideal for a motivated individual passionate about managing high-value cases, including wrongful death and catastrophic injury, while leading and mentoring a talented litigation team. Our firm is known for its results-driven approach and commitment to quality, making this a unique opportunity to take on challenging cases and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a litigation team consisting of attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals, fostering collaboration and achieving team goals.

• Oversee a personal docket of approximately 50 high-value cases, ensuring timely preparation and readiness for trial.

• Conduct all aspects of trial preparation and execution, including discovery, strategy development, and courtroom advocacy.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional representation and support throughout the litigation process.

• Develop and implement strategic decisions aimed at optimizing case outcomes and operational efficiency.

• Represent the firm within the community, building relationships that align with the firm's mission and values.

• Ensure compliance with all litigation deadlines, maintaining accountability within the team.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and maximize both legal and business outcomes.

• Maintain a focus on achieving high-stakes verdicts in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on personal injury law.

• Proven track record of successfully trying cases to verdict, particularly in high-value personal injury or wrongful death matters.

• Licensed to practice in Missouri, with preference for additional licensure in surrounding states.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a large docket or lead a law firm as a strategic decision-maker.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a history of mentoring legal professionals.

• Strong understanding of case valuation, profitability, and expense management.

• Expertise in handling cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, premises liability, and auto/transport accidents.

• Advanced trial advocacy and negotiation skills, with a history of achieving significant verdicts.
