Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Amazon Account Manager to lead the development and execution of advanced advertising strategies on Amazon and other retail media platforms. This role involves managing client campaigns, optimizing performance, and mentoring less experienced team members to foster growth and collaboration. Based in San Diego, California, this in-office position requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of advertising campaigns on 3P Amazon accounts and other retail media platforms such as Walmart Connect.

• Analyze campaign performance metrics to generate actionable insights and improve overall results.

• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

• Act as a subject matter expert for Amazon Ad Console and related retail media tools, providing strategic guidance to clients and internal teams.

• Identify and implement innovative strategies to maximize client growth and ROI.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

• Use tools like Google Sheets, Excel, and project management platforms to streamline reporting and workflow.

• Develop and deliver training materials to enhance team capabilities in retail media management.

• Lead client-facing interactions, presenting campaign results and recommending strategic improvements.

• Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years focused on 3P Amazon or retail media platforms.

• Proficiency in Amazon Ad Console and other retail media tools like Walmart Connect.

• Advanced skills in Google Sheets, Excel, and project management software such as Asana.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring less experienced staff.

• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in advertising workflows.

• In-office availability five days a week, with a flexible schedule.

• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working closely with team members in person.
