    Description

    Our client is looking for a Valuation and Portfolio Operations professional to join them in their Boston office. They are a well-known Investment Management firm.

     

    This professional will lead the valuation, accounting, and reporting activities for private direct investments within the portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Engage in comprehensive valuations of private companies, partnering with external experts to build and evaluate financial models. Perform detailed research on companies, industries, and markets to support critical valuation assumptions and decisions. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including investment professionals, legal teams, and auditors, to address inquiries and effectively communicate findings. Support all stages of the trade lifecycle, from deal close through ongoing portfolio management, while ensuring alignment across departments. Stay informed on the latest valuation techniques and reporting requirements to continuously enhance methodologies and processes.

    Requirements

    Ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience, CPA ideally, and strong knowledge and hands-on experience building valuation models.
