Description

Our client is seeking experienced Associate Attorney specializing in business immigration to join a legal team in Philadelphia. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel to clients, oversee case strategies, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of all case materials. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment while contributing to the success of both the firm and its clients.

The Associate Attorney provides legal advice, develops case strategies, and oversees legal support staff to ensure accurate and effective case preparation aligned with client and firm interests. Can be fully remote if living in a state that the company has payroll set up in!

Requirements

+ Advise clients and provide case updates independently for routine matters.

+ Conduct consultations and accompany clients to interviews.

+ Develop case strategies and oversee the preparation of legal documents.

+ Draft complex legal materials (e.g., RFE responses).

+ Serve as the primary client contact alongside support staff.

+ Lead or attend case meetings with support teams.

+ Review and approve legal documents for final submission.

+ Conduct legal research and stay current on immigration law.

+ Maintain compliant and organized client files.

+ Represent the firm at external events as needed.

+ Independently manage common legal issues while escalating complex ones.

+ Maintain strong knowledge of immigration laws and client-specific needs.

+ Efficiently manage caseloads and meet deadlines.

+ JD and active state bar membership.

+ 3–5 years of business immigration experience (e.g., E, L, H, O, P visas or IV processes).

+ Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

+ Detail-oriented, team player with initiative.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems.
