Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Arkansas. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing comprehensive accounting functions. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger to uphold financial integrity.

• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

• Handle quarterly tax filings and assist with tax-related documentation.

• Perform month-end closings and ensure all financial records are up to date.

• Track fixed assets and create detailed depreciation schedules.

• Provide supervision and guidance to accounting clerks and less experienced bookkeepers.

• Prepare and maintain the trial balance to support accurate financial reporting. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, or Sage.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage payroll processing.

• Familiarity with preparing financial statements, tax filings, and month-end closings.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to supervise and mentor accounting staff who are newer to the field.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to track fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules.
