We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Privacy / Technology Contracts Manager - to support our client, an innovative player in the Cloud Computing industry. The role is FULL REMOTE, with a team based in New York, New York. In this function, you'll be working with the legal group, focusing on technology MSAs, data privacy,IP licensing, cloud service terms and IaaS software agreements.

NOTE: While a Law Degree is a major plus for this role, LICENSED ATTORNEYS NEED NOT APPLY.

Responsibilities:

• Experience negotiating technology MSAs, especially in media, broadcast, or enterprise SaaS/IaaS

• Strong familiarity with SLAs, indemnification, limitation of liability, IP licensing, data privacy, cloud service terms, Multi-party or channel agreements (e.g., with SIs or resellers).

• Negotiate and draft contracts related to cloud technologies and data privacy.

• Handle IaaS software agreements.

• Work closely with the legal group on various projects.

• Use your legal knowledge and familiarity with legal terminology in contract management.

• Amend contracts as needed to ensure they meet company and legal requirements.

• Stay updated on developments in cloud technologies to inform contract negotiations.

• Manage contracts in a corporate setting.

Requirements

• Proficiency in making amendments to legal contracts

• Experience negotiating technology MSAs, especially in media, broadcast, or enterprise SaaS/IaaS

• Strong familiarity with SLAs, indemnification, limitation of liability, IP licensing, data privacy, cloud service terms, Multi-party or channel agreements (e.g., with SIs or resellers).

• Possession of a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is a plus

NOTE: While a Law Degree is a major plus for this role, LICENSED ATTORNEYS NEED NOT APPLY.

• Comprehensive understanding of data privacy laws and regulations

• Familiarity with cloud technologies and their associated legal implications

• Extensive legal knowledge, particularly in the area of contract law

• Fluency in legal terminology, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner

• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal contracts
