Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. This full-cycle payroll processing role is integral to ensuring timely and accurate payroll for approximately 100 employees on weekly and bi-weekly pay schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll expertise, familiarity with ADP Workforce Now (WFN), and experience managing payroll operations end-to-end. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Full Cycle Payroll Processing: Accurately process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for ~100 employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
+ Payroll System Management: Leverage ADP Workforce Now (WFN) for payroll system updates, reporting, and troubleshooting.
+ Data Management: Maintain accurate employee data, including earnings, deductions, tax withholdings, and direct deposit details.
+ Compliance: Ensure payroll practices comply with applicable laws, tax regulations, and organizational policies.
+ Reporting: Generate payroll reports, such as tax filings, 401(k) contributions, and other financial summaries as necessary.
+ Employee Support: Address employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies, tax withholdings, and other related concerns professionally and promptly.
+ Problem Resolution: Identify payroll issues and take proactive steps to resolve them with minimal disruption.
+ Process Improvements: Recommend and implement best practices to streamline payroll processes, enhance accuracy, and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
+ Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in payroll processing, with prior exposure to full-cycle payroll responsibilities.
+ Systems Expertise: Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required.
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
+ Knowledge: Solid understanding of payroll policies, regulations, and tax filing requirements.
+ Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
+ Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills for addressing employee payroll issues and collaborating with other departments.
+ Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.
