Accountabilities:

+ Take a lead role in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes

+ Prepare and post journal entries

+ Review and record admittance of new investors

+ Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting requirements, as well as tax requirements

+ Coordinate with cash management group to execute cash transactions (investor subscriptions, investor distributions, invoice payment, quarterly fees)

+ Review property management financial statements

+ Quarterly financial analysis, including review of investment accounting information

+ Calculate, analyze and report performance returns

+ Assist in closing the books and records for JLLIPT and the preparation of SEC filings

+ Respond to client inquiries

+ Create efficiency in and effectiveness of the financial reporting process, including effective usage of technology, as well as improve client services

+ Take initiative in identifying problems and providing suggested solutions

+ Take the lead on special projects as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

+ Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience

+ Strong knowledge of real estate accounting

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

+ CPA designation is strongly preferred
