    Description

    Robert Half is seeking an organized and analytical Junior Buyer to assist one of our premier clients. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement and develop their skills in supplier management, purchasing processes, and inventory control.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Process purchase orders and requisitions while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

    + Research, compare, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, lead times, and quality.

    + Monitor open purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods or services.

    + Maintain vendor relationships by effectively communicating and resolving order discrepancies.

    + Analyze and report inventory levels to ensure proper stock availability.

    + Coordinate with internal departments, including finance and operations, to meet purchasing needs.

    + Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies within purchasing operations.

    + Create and maintain accurate records of purchase transactions in the company’s ERP system.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field preferred.

    + Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related role.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables and data analysis).

    + Experience with ERP applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Workday).

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with suppliers and internal teams effectively.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Familiarity with inventory management best practices.

    + Experience in negotiating contracts or supplier agreements.

    + Understanding of procurement regulations and compliance standards.
