    Position Description:

    This role will require strong data analysis skills as the position will support business teams creating data for graph database consumption and model execution. The selected candidate will be responsible for aiding in the creation of agile stories relating to data deliverables (requirements and acceptance criteria). Must have the ability to understand and break down complex ideas and concepts into easy to understand pieces.

     

    SQL, Hadoop, SQL Server, Oracle, Ability to take business requirements and transform them into SQL. Ability to break down complex data requirements into simpler smaller steps/processes

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    • Responds to client inquiries.

    • Documents disaster recovery plans.

    • Initiates continuous improvement activities (e.g., DASD reductions, improved job flow, automated notifications).

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Minimum 2 years experience in data technologies.

    • Minimum 2 years’ SQL, Hadoop, SQL Server, Oracle, Ability to take business requirements and transform them into SQL

    • Experienced with data wrangling and preparation for use within data science, business intelligence or similar analytical functions required.

    • Experience in data technologies - SQL, Hadoop, SQL Server, Oracle

    Nice to have

    • Experience in Analytics and reporting

    • Experience in banking & finance industry

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is 50,800 - $108,300.
