Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Senior AWS Full Stack Programmer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. • This position is located at a client site in Reston, VA and will require 5 days a week in office.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Application Developer performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.

Skills:

1) Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

2) Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed

3) Solid understanding of current programming languages and employs any/all of these languages to solve the business needs of FNM's internal customers

4) Knowledge of the following: Java, Python, Angular, AWS, Gitlab, Jenkins , SQL.

Education/Work Experience:

1) Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

2) Professional certification(s) desired 5+ years software development experience across the appropriate platform

3) Solid IT background and experience.

4) Experience as a application developer for projects similar in scope and responsibility

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• This position is for a Senior full stack Java developer.

• 10+ years experience as full stack developer with Java, Angular, Python, spring-boot experience in full SDLC process.

• Experience in developing cloud application, understanding data storage and process

• Knowledge of OAuth framework is desired

• Understand the code promotions and branching methodologies

• Knowledge of REST, IAM and Ping Identity products is plus

• Exposure to Agile methodology

• Good communication, documentation and team player skills

• Be able to support off-hours production releases and provide off hours on-call operations support Education

• Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed

• Solid understanding of current programming languages and employs any/all of these languages to solve the business needs of FNM's internal customers

• Knowledge of J2EE, Java, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000.00 - $165,300.00
