SCHEDULE/COMPENSATION

+ Monday through Thursday (4, 10-hour days)

+ 6:00AM - 4:30PM

+ Possible OT on Friday and/or Saturday as production demands require

+ $19 - $25 DOE

DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is a leading source for engineered MIL/AERO high performance interconnect products. We design, engineer, and produce cable assemblies, wire harnesses, conduit assemblies, custom connectors, etc. We are made up of seven vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products.

Summary of Position

Hands-on, mechanically skilled Injection Molding Technician performing work in accordance with military, aerospace and or other assembly standards using visual aids and verbal written instructions.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

+ Read & Interpret Blueprints, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material and check routers for errors.

+ Operate and monitor injection molding machines utilizing thermoset and thermoplastic materials.

+ Diagnose machine issues to correct no-fills and under-packing of molded parts.

+ Document machine settings, adjustments, repairs, and incidents accurately using paper logs.

+ Ability to understand when to adjust heat, pressures, cure times to yield both dimensionally and cosmetically acceptable parts.

+ Inspect and troubleshoot product defects and molding inconsistencies.

+ Ensure product quality by monitoring output and verifying alignment and functionality of each unit.

+ Abide by DCX-CHOL Enterprises policies, training, and quality and safety practices.

+ Competent in the daily tasks to meet their job duties and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

+ Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes, particularly plastic injection molding.

+ Experienced in running Arburg machines.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to safety protocols

+ Maintain a clean, safe well organized work-station through routine housekeeping.

+ Good eyesight and excellent finger dexterity

+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

This job operates in a manufacturing / production environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical demands include the following but are not limited to: good mobility, physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
