Ensures adherence to application security in all phases of the software development life cycle. Collaborates with team members and acts as an expert resource to define application security best practices, performs software architecture and design reviews, and supports the identification, interpretation, and remediation of vulnerabilities across a variety of applications, programming languages, and platforms. Serves as the expert in all matters related to Cyber Security Engineer, mentoring and coaching junior team members.

Provide comprehensive system baseline reports to the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). Identifying and reporting any unapproved changes to the system baseline, ensuring that the organization's security standards are uncompromised.

+ Involved in leveraging Cloud Services for orchestrating containerized applications

+ Leads highly technical project teams through each phase of System Engineering Lifecycle to deliver capabilities in accordance with program/project provided functional requirements

+ Defines, maintains, and enforces application security best practices. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and leads efforts implement

+ Adapt to new security challenges and staying knowledgeable with the latest security tools and practices

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience.

+ TS SCI Clearance

+ Experience in System Security and proactive approaches to threat detection and resolution

+ Knowledge or experience in Managing Security with cloud-based and containerized environment

+ Adaptable to new security challenges

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role.
