    **Job Title:** Manual Grinder / Precision Machinist

    **Location:** Livonia, MI

    **Pay Rate:** $22–$26 per hour (based on experience and skill level)

    **Job Type:** Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire

    **Shift:** Day shift (with possible overtime)

    Overview:

    We are seeking a **Manual Grinder / Precision Machinist** with strong experience in ID/OD or manual thread grinding to join our team in Livonia, MI. This position is ideal for detail-oriented machinists who excel in high-precision environments and can work with extremely tight tolerances. Candidates with experience on Okuma, Mazak, or Haas CNC machines are encouraged to apply.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Operate manual grinding machines for ID/OD and thread grinding applications

    + Work with tight tolerances ranging from 0.001” to 0.0002”

    + Perform quality inspections on parts to ensure precision and accuracy

    + Interpret and work from detailed blueprints and engineering drawings

    + Use a variety of precision measuring tools to verify work

    + Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Proven experience with manual grinding (ID/OD/thread)

    + Experience holding ultra-tight tolerances (0.001–0.0002 inch)

    + Skilled in the use of Okuma, Mazak, and/or Haas CNC machines (a plus)

    + Background in high-precision or aerospace-style manufacturing environments

    + Strong understanding of measurement tools including micrometers, gauges, and dial indicators

    + Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

    + Detail-oriented and quality-driven

    **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
