    Join Our Dynamic Team as a Proposal Coordination Intern!

     

    Are you detail-oriented, organized, and eager to gain hands-on experience while playing a key role in shaping the future of our business? We’re looking for a passionate and driven Proposal Coordination Intern to become an integral part of our team. In this exciting role, you’ll primarily focus on proposal coordination while also participating in short-term rotations across various functions within Akima’s Corporate Development Organization. This unique opportunity provides exposure to different aspects of the business, helping you build a broad foundation for a career in corporate growth and strategy.

    Responsibilities

    + Be the Central Hub: Serve as the go-to contact for all assigned Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination across teams.

    + Strategic Proposal Development: Analyze RFPs and RFIs, creating impactful proposal templates and comprehensive development plans to guide our submissions.

    + Lead and Motivate: Take charge of action items, lead status calls, and maintain momentum throughout the proposal process.

    + Creative Deliverables: Provide desktop publishing support, ensuring high-quality and visually compelling materials are delivered for all assigned proposals.

    + Collaborate and Support: Work hand-in-hand with the Proposal Manager, assisting with deliverables, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.

    + Champion Company Compliance: Act as the company liaison for all proposals, ensuring they follow company processes, meet compliance standards, and are submitted flawlessly.

    + Support BD and Capture Teams: Play an essential role in assisting with subcontract proposals, facilitating data calls, and contributing to the success of our business development and capture efforts.

    + Participate in Rotations: Gain insight into the broader Corporate Development Organization through brief rotations in departments such as Strategic Growth, Market Intelligence, or Program Development.

    Qualifications

    + Must be a NANA Shareholder and/or descendant of “NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.”

    + Must be currently enrolled in college or a technical/vocational school

    + High school diploma and an in-progress BA or BS degree

    + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    + Proven attention to detail

    + Desire to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment

    + Organized, team-oriented, enthusiastic, independent thinker who enjoys working with collaborative teams

    + Excellent written and oral communication
