Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Stack React.js Developer with experience in Java to join our dynamic engineering team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining innovative web applications and services. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from front-end user interfaces to back-end APIs and data management. This is a hands-on role that will provide technical direction to team members in addition to their own development tasks. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience programming Full-Stack ReactJS applications on enterprise platforms and cloud-based technologies. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Required Experience

+ Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development – (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and Angular, for example). 8 years

+ Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE. 8 years

+ Experience working with databases (both relational and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc. 8 years

+ Experience with Web-based user interface development using ReactJS. 8 years

+ Demonstrable experience developing back-end applications and RESTful APIs using Java. 8 years

+ Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services. 8 years

+ Experience creating technical and functional design documentation. 8 years

+ Experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on React.js development. 8 years

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure. 5 years

+ Experience working in an Agile development environment. 4 years

+ Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.4

+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines. 4 years

+ Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) with React. 4 years

+ Experience with GraphQL. 4 years

+ Understanding of security best practices for web applications. 4 years

+ Experience in building, supporting, maintaining, and monitoring mission critical business, applications/systems, running in highly distributed environments. 3 years

+ Experience with Cosmos. 2 years

+ Experience with Elastic Search. 2 years
