Job Title: Quotation & Purchasing Specialist
**Location:** Huntington Beach, CA
**Shift:** 1st Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), Monday–Friday
**Job Type:** Full-Time **Pay Range:** $25-$28/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Quotation & Purchasing Specialist** to support our sales and procurement teams. In this dual-function role, you will be primarily responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotations for a range of products and services, while also managing purchasing activities to ensure optimal inventory levels and cost-efficiency. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Essential Functions:
+ Prepare purchase orders based on specifications and analyze the market for best pricing, availability, and quality.
+ Generate and submit domestic and international quotations using customer, distributor, and sales input.
+ Collaborate with management to evaluate vendor performance and accountability.
+ Work closely with sales, customer service, production, and external vendors to gather necessary information for quotations.
+ Manage procurement of stock and non-stock items to maintain optimal inventory levels.
+ Maintain accurate records of quotations and purchase orders for future reference.
+ Forward orders to suppliers and monitor the status to ensure timely delivery.
+ Analyze pricing based on past quotes, current market trends, and customer history.
+ Resolve discrepancies with suppliers related to delivery, pricing, or terms.
+ Ensure accurate and timely receipt of goods to authorize payments.
+ Contribute to the development and improvement of internal purchasing and quoting procedures.
+ Stay current on industry best practices through ongoing education and training.
+ Maintain awareness of workplace safety and report potential hazards.
+ Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with vendors and customers.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
+ Prior experience in purchasing, quoting, or sales support roles preferred.
+ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
+ Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
