Data Architect
Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Data Architect jobs. This is a 12-month assignment with the possibility of renewal up to 24 months. This position is remote with monthly travel to Clark, NJ to work with business representatives.
This position requires candidates to handle multiple activities in a team supporting diverse data needs. Primary functions include data architecture, data development and design, data quality management, reference and master data management, data integration, and data governance. Responsibilities for a Data Architect include but are not limited to:
+ Developing data architecture, data workflow logical models, and physical source data models.
+ Creating data profiling reports, data quality control, and data audits.
+ Defining data definitions, data taxonomy, data metrics, meta-data, data lineage, and data cleansing services.
+ Performing data modeling, data audits, detailed data design, and defining rules.
+ Establishing master data solutions, defining hierarchies and affiliations, and distributing reference and master data.
+ Profiling, analyzing, and assessing data quality.
+ Designing data quality management procedures and working closely with the Business and Data Quality organization in Paris.
+ Cleaning and correcting data quality defects and establishing data governance.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
+ Comprehension of DevOps and Agile development and application to data-centric architecture and solutions.
+ Advanced expertise in database handling languages (SQL and variants).
+ Expertise in data modeling (physical and logical), ER diagrams, data dictionary, data map, normalize/denormalize, and agile data modeling.
+ Expertise in data manipulation tools.
+ Practical skill sets in BI and Data visualization tools.
+ Knowledge of other programming languages and ability to write code (i.e., VBA, Python, XML).
+ Working knowledge of ETL.
Desired Skills or Experience:
+ Leadership skills needed to successfully promote ideas, coordinate work activities, and plan deliverables within a project team.

**Pay Details:** $57.58 per hour
