Position: HCCF Liquid Distribution Manager

Reports to: Director of HCCF Distribution

Status: Full-time, Salary Exempt

Yearly Salary: $75K - $85K

Overview:

The HCCF Liquid Distribution Manager is responsible for managing the efficient and safe distribution of liquid products across the HCCF Division. This role oversees dispatch operations, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and leads a team of dispatchers to support high customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

+ Lead and manage dispatch operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely deliveries.

+ Promote a culture of safety and ensure 100% compliance with all DOT, DEC, and company policies.

+ Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to dispatchers.

+ Oversee daily delivery efficiencies and exception reporting.

+ Develop and train dispatchers to meet company standards and operational expectations.

+ Conduct weekly meetings with dispatchers to drive consistency, accountability, and communication.

+ Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.

+ Maintain open and effective communication with Branch Operations Managers.

+ Support the proper use of in-truck and back-office technologies to prevent inefficiencies and safety issues.

+ Manage the dispatcher on-call schedule and ensure adequate coverage.

+ Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety guidelines, and procedures at all times.

+ Provide reliable transportation and maintain availability during nights, weekends, and as operational needs dictate (including 50% travel with overnights).

+ Maintain confidentiality regarding customer and company information.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee all distribution center operations and ensure alignment with delivery standards.

+ Continuously evaluate and improve dispatch and distribution processes to enhance productivity and reduce cost.

+ Collaborate with leadership to allocate company resources effectively.

+ Ensure deficiencies identified in operations are addressed immediately and resolved.

+ Participate in job-related training sessions and informational seminars as requested.

+ Support other departments and special projects as assigned.

Supervision

+ Directly supervise dispatchers across the HCCF Division.

+ Set staffing schedules, lead training initiatives, and deliver performance feedback.

+ Hold team members accountable, recognize outstanding performance, and document performance issues appropriately.

+ Partner with HR to support career development and succession planning.

Qualifications

+ Self-motivated, results-driven, and detail-oriented professional.

+ Knowledge of the heating/distribution industry required.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

+ 2'5 years of industry-specific experience preferred.

+ High school diploma, vocational school diploma, or GED required; related certifications a plus.

+ CETP certification required within one year of employment and must be maintained.

+ Valid driver's license required; ability to obtain a CDL with endorsements preferred.
