    Job Title: Sales CoordinatorJob Description

     

    The Sales Coordinator is responsible for executing all aspects of the sales call process and strategies, facilitating and coordinating business activities of accounts, and implementing sales initiatives. The primary focus is supporting the sales team by creating quotes, processing orders, and helping to manage construction schedules. The role involves daily interaction with production managers, internal and external customers, and department employees.

    Responsibilities

    + Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers.

    + Communicate with customers in the residential construction industry to sell and manage the timely flow of building materials to job sites.

    + Expertly use, promote, and facilitate PARR Bridge Strategy.

    + Set, reach, and meet or exceed personal sales and profit goals.

    + Deepen customer relationships and schedule timely material shipments to ensure account profitability and customer satisfaction.

    + Sell on overall quality, value, and service rather than price.

    + Manage time and prioritize workflow efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    + Communicate with dispatch or production manager to ensure deliveries are not overpromised.

    + Send orders to dispatch with a request for pickup.

    + Maintain customer profiles in Outlook or CRM.

    + Maintain workspace cleanliness.

    + Follow best practices in order entry, setting up deliveries, and all aspects of the job.

    + Walk customers to products in the store and introduce oneself using the customer's name.

    + Manage open orders to ensure timely invoicing or deletion.

    + Follow SPC guidelines and proper GP%.

    + Send orders to purchasing for processing.

    + Greet customers professionally.

    + Answer phone promptly with a professional greeting.

    + Identify customers' urgency and complete orders quickly.

    + Confirm customers' material needs prior to sending deliveries.

    + Complete quotes and follow up in a timely manner.

    + Be proactive with customers' needs.

    + Maintain a share file for customer plans and take-offs.

    + Ensure inventory arrives and communicate with customers.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Knowledge of building materials or experience in the construction industry.

    + Ten-key by touch.

    + Ability to speak, write, and read English.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong communication skills through phone and email.

    + Proven ability to develop relationships.

    + Ability to operate a personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and other necessary equipment.

    + Typing speed of 40+ WPM.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    + Ability to execute PLC selling strategies and initiatives.

    + Ability to achieve sales goals and objectives.

    + Knowledge of PLC selling principles, practices, and protocols.

    + Willingness to share department responsibilities to meet deadlines.

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

    + Reliable transportation.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in an office environment at a desk with a computer. Employees can expect to sit and/or stand for extended periods and may be required to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and carry objects for 50 feet.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
