Job Title: CNC Machinist. 25-31 $

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with over four years of experience to join our team. This position involves operating, setting up, programming, and editing CNC machines, specifically within a job shop setting with Milling machines. This is a first-shift position, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

+ Operate, set up, program, and edit CNC machines in a job shop with Milling machines.

+ Apply knowledge of G&M Code for machine operation.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and use calipers and micrometers for maintaining tolerances.

+ Perform machining on materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, carbon, and zinc, focusing on very thin tubing material.

+ Conduct machine set ups and tear downs, tool changes, and basic machine upkeep.

+ Create parts for machines, performing daily set ups.

Essential Skills

+ Diploma or GED

+ At least 3 years of machining experience

+ Experience with machine set ups

+ Basic machine program edits

+ Understanding of G&M code and controls such as Fanuc or similar

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Lathe experience is a plus

+ Machining certifications or relevant schooling is advantageous

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.75/hr.
