Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
We are seeking Manufacturing Technicians to join a rapidly growing startup team. This technically-focused role involves building and testing various parts, components, and systems of the company's electronic products and operating systems. The position requires working with the first iterations of new products and understanding electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings. The candidate will use hand tools daily and communicate quality issues to the engineering team.
Responsibilities
+ Build and test parts, components, and systems including circuit boards, wiring harnesses, electric motors, etc.
+ Understand and interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
+ Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque screwdrivers, calipers, and micrometers.
+ Utilize Digital Manufacturing Tools & Software like CAD and 3D Printers.
Essential Skills
+ Manufacturing Assembly tools and electrical test equipment proficiency.
+ Experience with wiring, schematics, and blueprints.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and troubleshooting.
+ Electro-mechanical assembly experience using manual mills, bandsaws, wrenches, drills, and measurement tools.
+ Ability to read SOPs, technical instructions, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Soldering skills are advantageous.
+ 2+ years of relevant experience in the assembly/manufacturing of electro-mechanical components in an R&D environment.
+ Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
+ Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and maintain a safe working environment.
Schedule and Pay Range Information
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with OT and some Saturdays encouraged.
Pay Range: $25-35/hr DOE
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
