    Job Description: Controls Engineer

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to program and implement control strategies, optimize ongoing operations using an automation platform, document systems, manage specifications of instruments, control equipment, and analyzers, troubleshoot and develop repair strategies, oversee and manage reliability programs for plant process controls equipment, and provide project controls advice.

    Responsibilities

    + Program and implement control strategies.

    + Optimize on-going operations using an automation platform.

    + Document systems.

    + Manage specifications of instruments, control equipment, and analyzers.

    + Troubleshoot and develop repair strategies.

    + Oversee and manage reliability programs for plant process controls equipment.

    + Provide project controls advice.

    Essential Skills

    + PLC programming.

    + Experience in Siemens and Rockwell Automation.

    + HMI programming.

    + Controls engineering.

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to maintain current codes and troubleshoot errors/findings.

    + Strong team collaboration skills.

    + Experience working with Maintenance, Mechanical, and Electrical teams.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + BA in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience or Associates with PLC certifications and 5+ years of experience.

    + Experience with Siemens, MicroMotion, Mass Flow meters, Reliance Electric DC drives, Wonderware, MCC, Flow Control, Recipe Management Systems.

    + Knowledge of standards and codes (NEC, NFPA, etc.).

    + Proven track record supporting process controls.

    + Experience in capital project development and execution.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
