Job Title: DevOps Automation EngineerJob Description

This role offers significant growth potential for someone with DevOps experience who wants to apply their knowledge to on-premises enterprise software deployment. While cloud experience is valuable for understanding modern practices, we're looking for someone who can adapt these concepts to non-cloud environments. The candidate will have time to ramp up and learn our specific deployment needs, with opportunities to help shape our DevOps practices as they evolve. The ideal candidate brings experience with automated testing and deployment in any environment, shows adaptability in applying DevOps concepts to different contexts, and has enthusiasm for solving deployment challenges in enterprise software environments. Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement CI/CD pipeline development and GitHub workflows.

+ Utilize object-oriented programming for test automation.

+ Apply knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.

+ Execute infrastructure as code using GitHub Actions, Terraform, or Jenkins.

+ Facilitate containerization and deployment automation using Docker.

+ Operate in multiple OS environments, including Windows and Linux.

+ Embrace Agile/Scrum methodologies to enhance project management.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and GitHub workflows.

+ Proficiency in object-oriented programming for test automation.

+ Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.

+ Experience with infrastructure as code (GitHub Actions/Terraform/Jenkins).

+ Understanding of containerization and deployment automation (Docker).

+ Familiarity with multiple OS environments (Windows and Linux).

+ Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

+ Developed deployment automation for enterprise software supporting multiple configurations.

+ Maintained automated testing frameworks validating system behavior across hardware/software environments.

+ Managed artifact management systems for versioned software packages with tools like Artifactory or Nexus.

+ Implemented configuration management systems for different feature sets for various enterprise clients.

+ Developed infrastructure as code solutions using Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.

+ Experience with containerization technologies like Docker for consistent deployment environments.

+ Implemented test automation covering integration and end-to-end testing across distributed systems.

+ Developed monitoring systems providing visibility into application health and release quality.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
