13165BRJob Description:United States Steel is currently undergoing a technological transformation within the FP&A organization to streamline, standardize, and enhance forecasting capabilities via the implementation of a modern Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tool. This multifaceted position reporting to the Director of FP&A Technology will serve as an administrator of the CPM and aid in the design, deployment, and continued enhancement. The role requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong critical thinking skills that can effectively communicate technical information to various teams across the enterprise. The level is flexible commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Capture business requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Act as liaison between the business and IT.
• Create and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards.
• Perform routine metadata management and loading of data.
• Develop and conduct end user training.
• Leverage CPM data to support data analytics initiatives.
• Support data warehousing and business intelligence activities.
• Support special projects and ad hoc requests.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• Ability to clearly and consistently communicate sensitive, complex, or difficult information using simple terms and an appropriate style for the audience.
• 2+ Years Accounting, Finance and/or Information Systems experience, preferably in a large corporate environment.
• Ability to contribute to high performing teams, take action to pursue opportunities, address issues, or solve problems through collaboration.
• Ability to translate ideas into tangible action plans to help achieve critical business priorities.
• Ability to confront tough issues in a creative manner and leverage well-developed team relationships to assess and resolve issues.
• Desire to learn and implement successful cross functional team projects.
• Experience with Excel, Oracle EBS, CPM Tools (OneStream preferred), and databases.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team.
• Strong communication, writing, interpersonal, organizational skills, and ability to interact with all levels of management.
