    Hiring Range : $30.00 Flat rate

     

    The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

     

    Responsibilities: • Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. • Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patientpopulation.

     

    • Documents treatment interventions given.

    • May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel. Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the New York Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.

     

    Education: • High school diploma or GED required.

     

    • Associate degree program in Physical Therapist Assistant, accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and approved by the New York State Education Department.
