    Description

    The Underwiriting Technology team is looking for a Risk Analyst for a long term contract position. They need someone to help manage the risk items across 26 different applications.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our risk program, ensuring that identified risks are tracked and remediated effectively. This role requires a blend of risk analysis along with advanced reporting capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Risk Management: Identify, track, and manage various risks using different tools. Work with support teams and application teams to ensure risks are remediated or have a remediation plan in place.

     

    Reporting: Pull risk reports from various tools, create pivot tables, lookups, and macros in Excel to summarize and present data meaningfully to the team.

     

    Collaboration: Work with different support teams, follow up on remediation efforts, and collaborate with application teams to address risks. Engage with app owners and other stakeholders to ensure effective risk management.

     

    Automation: Utilize Python and other automation tools to streamline data pulling and reporting processes. Implement automated API calls for data extraction.

     

    Executive Reporting: Assist in preparing executive reports and presentations using PowerPoint. Participate in weekly executive reviews and provide insights based on risk data.

    Qualifications:

    Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and macros.

     

    Experience with Python and automation tools for data extraction and reporting.

     

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

     

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

     

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     

    Familiarity with change management processes is a plus.

     

    Experience in risk management and project management.

    Additional Skills:

    PowerPoint skills for executive reporting and presentations.

     

    Ability to prioritize tasks based on due dates and risk severity.

     

    Continuous improvement mindset to enhance risk management processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    The team would like to automate as much as possible--any experience with python, tableau, Power BI etc. would be helpful

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $53.00/hr.
