    Statement of Purpose: The Lactation Consultant will provide breastfeeding support and education to the mothers and infants at Milford Hospital . The Lactation Consultant will work to improve the lactation knowledge and skills of the nursing and medical staff. The Lactation Consultant will help develop, review and implement standards of practice for breastfeeding. Qualifications:

     

    Education: Graduate of an accredited school for Registered Nurses. BSN preferred

     

    Certification/License: MA RN License; Current certification by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners;Current CPR skills.

     

    Experience: The applicant will demonstrate expertise in the clinical setting with a minimum of two years of experience working with breastfeeding patients.

     

    MRMC Differentials: Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $5.00 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
