CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer 3 opening for our client in Austin, TX.

**Location:** Austin, TX (hybrid remote)

**Duration:** 3 months

Duties:

+ Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js on the front end and Java on the back end.

+ Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design and deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

+ Lead technical direction and mentor team members while actively contributing to hands-on development tasks.

+ Analyze information requirements, study systems flow and data usage, and design systems specifications and standards.

+ Build RESTful APIs and integrate with both relational and NoSQL databases.

+ Prepare and install solutions by determining appropriate specifications and programming techniques.

+ Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.

Skills:

+ Java/J2EE (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, Jakarta EE)

+ Front-end development with React.js

+ Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

+ Designing and developing RESTful APIs

+ Agile development methodologies

+ Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

+ Cloud platforms: AWS or Azure

+ Knowledge of security best practices for web applications

+ Experience with GraphQL and Elastic Search is a plus

+ Understanding of SSR/SSG with React is preferred

Experience:

+ 8+ years of enterprise-level software development experience

+ Demonstrated experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with a strong focus on React.js

+ Proven ability to design and document enterprise applications

+ Experience working in highly distributed, mission-critical environments

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
