How You'll Create Possibilities

Job Description

+ Lead the development and execution of strategic, multi-platform communications campaigns that support key business priorities, including digital innovation, product initiatives, business operations, new ecosystems and corporate branding.

+ Strengthen and expand GE Appliances’ media presence by cultivating relationships with national and regional reporters, influencers, bloggers, podcasters; proactively identifying opportunities to amplify the company’s stories.

+ Drive compelling, creative storytelling across digital, social, earned, and owned channels that amplifies our stories and build external engagement.

+ Build and nurture relationships across our partner ecosystem — including industry groups, customers, and other key stakeholders — to extend our influence and visibility.

+ Provide trusted communications counsel to senior leaders; guide communications for organizational change, issues management, and reputation-sensitive topics.

+ Support the company’s crisis communication readiness and response efforts.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally to align internal and external messaging and create continuity in voice and tone.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.

+ 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media strategy, ideally in a B2B or manufacturing context.

+ Demonstrated success in shaping narratives, landing impactful media placements, and managing complex communications programs.

+ Digital media fluency — including social content creation, analytics interpretation, and platform strategy.

+ Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and audiences.

+ Adept at managing multiple priorities, navigating ambiguity, and delivering results under pressure.

+ Strong executive presence with a consultative approach to working with senior leaders.

+ Experience in unionized environments and crisis communication preferred.

+ Willingness to travel as needed.
