**The Trails of Orono Senior Living** community is located in a serene wooded setting just west of Minneapolis near Highways 12 and I-494 in Wayzata, MN. Managed by Ebenezer, we host 59 units among our Independent/Assisted Living and Memory care residential settings. Our exceptional and tenured caregivers believe in Ebenezer’s mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.
We are looking for a **Environmental Services Director** to join our team to provide general oversight and maintenance of property or properties (building & grounds) including all major utility, life safety and security systems. Supervises maintenance and housekeeping staff. Ensures 24/7 emergency On-Call response per rotating schedule.
This environmental managment schedule includes;
+ 80 hours every two weeks ; full time
+ Day Shift
+ Weekends as needed ; On Call for Emergencies
Responsibilities:
+ Provides general oversight and maintenance of property, including all major utility, life safety and security systems
+ Supervises maintenance and housekeeping staff
+ Ensures timely and efficient turnover of apartments
+ Provides 24/7 emergency On-Call response per rotating schedule
+ Promotes a safe environment for staff, tenants and visitors
Required Qualifications:
+ High school Diploma/GED
+ **Special Class C Boiler Operator’s License or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire**
+ Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
+ Must be insurable under the employer’s/communities Auto Insurance Coverage
+ MN Only: Medical Examiner’s Certificate performed by a medical examiner listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners under subpart D of part 390 of this chapter indicating they are physically capable of driving a CMV. + Three to five years of previous experience
+ Organizational skills and attention to accuracy & detail
+ High level of customer services and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to be on call at least 50% of non-scheduled work time each month
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree – Industrial energy or related field
+ Five to ten years of previous experience
+ Ability to use MS Office software (Word, Excel)
