Job Overview

We are looking for a **Maintenance Assistant** to join out senior living team. This position will monitor preventative maintenance programs and repair building systems and equipment. They will also train other building staff, as needed, on basic trouble-shooting of building systems and equipment. The schedule includes;

+ 80 hours every two weeks

+ Full time, day shift

+ Flexible Schedule

+ Weekend rotation

+ On call & tenant to resident in responsibilities

Responsibilities:

+ Basic maintenance and safety awareness

+ Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, staff, vendors, visitors and supervisors.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

+ Ability to respond to tenant/visitor/staff medical emergencies in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Current Driver’s License (in good standing)

+ Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems

+ One to three years of previous experience

Preferred:

+ High school Diploma/GED
