    About the role:

    Diageo is a leading premium drinks company whose success is built on the marketing and sales of its extensive portfolio. The HR Specialist role supports the Demand HR Teams as well as other central projects, providing specialized administrative partnership and conducting detailed analysis of HR & People data to inform strategic priorities and business outcomes. This position requires a blend of HR expertise and strong analytical skills to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.

    Purpose of Role:

    Support the execution and embedding of the Organization and People strategy to support performance & engagement goals across the business. The HR Specialist provides day to day HR support to the Demand Function HR Business Team, NAM Inclusion & Diversity and L&D teams. This position is responsible for client group communications, reporting, data analysis, insight generation, all delivered while maintaining a strict level of confidentiality.

     

    In this role you will be responsible for understanding, navigating, and improving various HR processes in service of delivering our people/talent/culture and business performance priorities. This key contributor must coordinate across multiple HR teams (Business Partners, Inclusion & Diversity, Learning & Development, Talent, Rewards, Talent Engagement and Internal Customer experience), bringing to bear these teams and strong relationships to find solutions and deliver key activities that continue to increase our HR effectiveness and, ultimately, business performance.

    Role Responsibilities:

    Key Outputs/Deliverables:

    To support the delivery of talent, engagement, succession and organizational effectiveness outcomes by:

    + Providing day to day support to the NAM Demand Team and I&D Team Including different HR forums and team activities.

    + Accountable for critical metric and performance tracking and analysis

    + Act as a central point of contact and liaison across the Demand HR team for key projects and annual HR processes (Talent Reviews, Annual Reward Cycles, P4Gs, Learning & Development, Rewards, Values Survey, etc.) and across HR teams.

    + Acting as a thought partner with HRBPs and I&D team, including the analysis and insight generation from both internal and external data.

    + Engaging individual business partners and other HR teams to assemble standard methodology strategies and tactics internally/externally that can be used across the team.

    + Lead and coordinate the quarterly NAM in persons onboarding event and support the coordination of other Leadership program events.

    + Understanding and applying Diageo NAM HR policies, programs and processes.

    + Ensuring coordination across the HRBP teams of communications, reporting, data analysis, and accountability for maintaining a strict level of confidentiality.

    + Handle HR Celebrates recognition program.

    + Lead and/or assist with standard methodology and standardization and streamline practices, tools, resources, communications

    + Build and develop relationships with HR peers and cross-functionally throughout the business to exchange feedback on issues, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs, and/or achieve business results.

    + Work closely with HRBPs on annual planning, Learning & Development, talent, and diversity strategies, and other projects to achieve people strategy

    + Local contact and coordinator for L&D

    + content deployment

    + IMPACT or other Leadership Programme roll out coordination/administration

    + Lead on People Manager guides

    + 30/60/90 day plans

    + Assimilation exercises

    + Half year feedback survey

    + Lead on Summer internship program

    + Workday reporting and analytics and improving/watching over data accuracy.

    + Work with Talent Engagement leads to ensure accuracy of succession pool data between talent review cycles (e.g. movers, leavers, promotions)

    + Support HR Leadership in building compelling power point presentations that support business cadence and other key initiatives

    + Use judgment and business context to balance challenging priorities

    + Market Lead for Your Voice Survey – planning, preparation, communication, participation tracking, action plan coordination

    + Lead I&D corporate survey completions and submissions (Seramount, Disability In, HRC, Dave Thomas Adoption)

    + Co facilitate HR Clinics (P4G, ARC, Talent Reviews)

    + Support ER investigations

    Experience / skills required:

    Experience:

    + Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in HR) or equivalent work experience

    + Minimum of 5 years-experience in HR

    + Knowledge of Workday, MS Outlook, and Power BI

    + Strong Power Point and MS Excel skills, including advanced reporting and analytics

    + Exceptional project management skills and resourcefulness

    + Strong collaboration and influencing skills

    + Implement and manage change effectively; creates environment for change

    + Contribute to teamwork

    + Displays confidence and thrives under pressure with changing priorities and tight deadlines

    + Demonstrates high integrity and confidentiality
