    The primary objective of the Preconstruction Director is to manage the process and resources that provide quality pre-construction services to both internal and external clients and review the progress of existing projects to ensure their completion within the parameters of the established project budget. This position reports to and receives direction from the VP of Preconstruction.

     

    Skanksa Advanced Technology (SAT) is a specialized operating unit focused on high-tech and semiconductor manufacturing.

    Preconstruction Director Required Qualifications:

    + 12+ years of full-time relevant industry experience

    + 10+ years of demonstrated experience with commercial construction estimating and estimating software solutions

    + 7+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing estimating, including unit rate / quantity survey

    + 2+ years of experience successfully working with the Value Management processes

    + Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint

    + Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent/applicable degree; or 8 years of equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
