Job Description: We are currently seeking a Program Management Analyst, Journeyman to support PMA-261 at the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The candidate will be a member of the Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) and will support the daily activities of the Program Office.
Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Performs tasks with little or no guidance
• Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise
• Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, or evaluate military weapons systems
• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
• Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, or acquisition and resource management
• Track requirements and metrics
• Ensure SEIT resources are managed in a synergistic, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment in support of program goals
• Provide status reports and respond to data calls as required by the Assistant Program Manager
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Required Experience: Minium Three (3) to Ten (10) years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
Desired Experience: At least Two (2) years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs. SEIT experience from the NAVAIR Engineering Community preferred and the candidate will be the interface between the SEIT team and program management.
Required Education: BA/BS degree. Allowable Substitutions: Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree or Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Required Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $78,433.26 to $117,649.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
